If I had to choose only one word to describe Kelly and Matt’s wedding, it would be “elegance”. Every detail of their day was carefully thought out, each venue chosen was consistent with their style and personality, and the day transitioned beautifully. Take for example, the getting ready locations: Kelly and her girls at the Hotel Viking, and Matt with his guys across the street at the Hilltop Inn. The top floor suite for the girls had beautiful window light, a spacious common area and french doors opening up to bedroom. A comfortable, elegant space for getting all the ladies dressed.
Kurtis captured some fun photos of the guys before they walked down the street to the ceremony location. The Hilltop Inn has a lot of character and old world charm that the couple adores!
Kelly and Matt chose Kay Chapel for their ceremony, and I can’t think of a more perfect location for them. This older church has been restored but maintained its original charm, with dark stained wooden beams across the ceiling, original stained glass and a large wooden altar.
We all boarded the trolley and did our own tour of Newport! Such a fun couple of hours!
Then we returned for cocktail hour and the reception at the Hotel Viking. I love all their details! The party was fabulous all around. Everyone had such a wonderful time.
I hope you all enjoyed this beautiful, elegant Newport wedding! Thank you Kelly and Matt for choosing BellaFoto Studios to document your day! xoxo
